Baccarat Banque Policies and Plan
Punto Banco Rules
Baccarat is bet on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are valued at face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the total of the 2 cards, however the first number is discarded. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a score of one (five plus six equals eleven; drop the 1st ‘1′).
A additional card may be given using the rules below:
- If the gambler or bank has a score of eight or 9, both players stand.
- If the player has less than five, he hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the player holds, the house takes a card on a total lower than five. If the gambler hits, a table is employed to decide if the house stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The better of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19:20 (even payout less a 5% rake. Commission are recorded and paid off once you quit the table so be sure to have money around just before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie usually pays 8:1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)
Wagered on properly baccarat gives generally decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy
As with all games punto banco has a few accepted misconceptions. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events about to happen. Tracking previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.
The most accepted and possibly the most successful plan is the 1-3-2-6 method. This plan is used to pump up winnings and minimizing risk.
Start by betting 1 chip. If you succeed, add another to the two on the game table for a grand total of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will have six on the game table, take away four so you have two on the 3rd bet. Should you succeed on the third wager, add two on the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.
If you do not win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A profit on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Success on the first 2 with a defeat on the third provides you with a profit of 2. And success on the 1st three with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Succeeding at all four wagers gives you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you are able to give up the 2nd round 5 times for every favorable streak of four bets and in the end, are even.
