Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules and Method
Baccarat Regulations
Baccarat chemin de fer is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are worth their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum total of the cards, however the beginning number is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a total of 1 (5 plus six = eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).
A 3rd card may be given out based on the rules below:
- If the gambler or house has a value of 8 or 9, both players stay.
- If the gambler has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.
- If the player holds, the house takes a card on a total lower than five. If the player hits, a chart is employed to see if the house stays or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The higher of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a five percent rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off once you leave the table so make sure you still have funds left over just before you head out). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at 1:1. Winning bets for a tie usually pays 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every ten rounds. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. 8:1)
Played correctly baccarat gives fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Banque Course of Action
As with all games baccarat banque has a few familiar false impressions. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events about to happen. Keeping score of previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.
The most common and probably the most favorable course of action is the one, three, two, six method. This plan is employed to pump up profits and limit risk.
Start by placing one unit. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you keep 2 on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, put down two on the four on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth round.
If you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the initial wager followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of 2. Success on the 1st 2 with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a gain of 2. And wins on the 1st three with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Succeeding at all 4 rounds gives you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you will be able to squander the second wager 5 times for each favorable streak of 4 rounds and still are even.
