Baccarat Regulations
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are valued under ten are of their printed number meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they just represent the 2 hands to be played).
Two hands of 2 cards will now be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for any hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For example, a hand of seven as well as five produces a total of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).
A third card may be given out depending on the foll. rules:
- If the gambler or banker has a tally of eight or nine, each gamblers stand.
- If the gambler has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.
- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to decide if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The bigger of the two scores will be the winner. Winning bets on the banker pay out nineteen to twenty (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie commonly pays eight to one and on occasion nine to one. (This is a terrible bet as ties will occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of betting on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – nine to one versus eight to one)
When done correctly, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Tactics
As with many games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. One of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not an actual indicator of future happenings. Monitoring of previous conclusions on a chart is a total waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most common and feasibly most successful method is the 1-three-two-6 technique. This process is employed to pump up winnings and limiting risk.
start by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.
If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Winning all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
