Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are valued under ten are of face value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they only depict the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of two cards will now be given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum of the two cards, but the very first digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of 7 and five will have a tally of 2 (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be given out depending on the foll. practices:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of eight or 9, the two bettors stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart is used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores will be the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even odds minus a five % commission. Commission is tracked and cleared out when you leave the table so be sure to have funds still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pays eight to one and occasionally nine to one. (This is not a good bet as ties will happen lower than 1 every ten hands. Run away from placing bets on a tie. Even so odds are appreciably better – 9 to 1 versus eight to 1)

Played properly, baccarat provides relatively good odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is never actually an indicator of future actions. Staying abreast of previous outcomes on a chart is simply a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and feasibly most successful technique is the one-three-2-6 method. This schema is deployed to accentuate successes and lowering risk.

Begin by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Therefore that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
