Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is bet on with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are valued at their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (equal cash less a 5 percent commission. Winning wagers for tie typically pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten rounds. Be cautious of putting money on a tie.
