Baccarat Principles

Baccarat is gambled on with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under 10 are worth their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the beginning digit is dropped. For example, a hand of five and six has a value of 1 (five plus 6 = 11; ditch the first ‘1′).

A third card could be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or house gets a value of eight or nine, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has five or less, he takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stands, the bank hits on a total less than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to determine if the banker stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The higher of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19:20 (equal money less a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off once you quit the game so be sure to have cash left just before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie usually pay 8 to 1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. eight to one)

Bet on properly baccarat banque gives relatively good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Scheme

As with all games baccarat banque has some established misconceptions. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of future outcomes. Keeping track of past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most established and definitely the most accomplished strategy is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This method is employed to pump up winnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by placing one unit. If you succeed, add another to the two on the game table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third round. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd bet, deposit 2 to the 4 on the game table for a total of six on the 4th round.

Should you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first bet followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Success on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a profit of two. And success on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning all four bets leaves you with 12, a take of 10. This means you will be able to give up the 2nd bet 5 instances for every successful run of four rounds and in the end, balance the books.
