Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards with less than a value of 10 are counted at their printed number and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they only symbolize the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for any hand shall be the grand total of the two cards, but the initial digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of 7 … 5 has a total score of 2 (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A third card might be given out depending on the following codes:

- If the player or banker has a total of eight or nine, then both bettors stand.

- If the player has five or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart might be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Successful stakes on the banker pay at nineteen to twenty (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so make sure that you have dollars left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie usually pays eight to one but on occasion 9 to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties will happen lower than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from betting on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantly better – nine to 1 versus eight to 1)

When done accurately, baccarat offers pretty decent odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future outcomes. Keeping track of last outcomes on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most popular and feasibly most successful tactic is the one-3-2-6 technique. This technique is used to boost successes and limiting risk.

Begin by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a total of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
