Baccarat Banque Rules and Strategy
Baccarat Principles
Baccarat banque is played with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are valued at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, however the first number is dropped. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a total of 1 (5 plus 6 equals 11; ignore the initial ‘1′).
A third card will be dealt depending on the following rules:
- If the player or bank achieves a total of eight or 9, both players stand.
- If the gambler has less than five, she takes a card. Players stays otherwise.
- If the gambler stays, the house hits on a value less than five. If the player takes a card, a table is employed to decide if the banker stays or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The larger of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a five percent commission. The Rake is tracked and cleared out once you quit the table so be sure to still have funds around just before you head out). Winning bets on the gambler pays one to one. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one versus 8:1)
Wagered on correctly baccarat banque gives pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Banque Method
As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of established misconceptions. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events yet to happen. Tracking previous outcomes on a page of paper is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most common and probably the most accomplished plan is the one-three-two-six method. This method is used to maximize earnings and minimizing risk.
Begin by wagering one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have 6 on the game table, pull off 4 so you are left with two on the third round. If you succeed on the 3rd round, deposit 2 to the 4 on the game table for a grand total of six on the 4th bet.
Should you don’t win on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the initial round followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Success on the first two with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a profit of two. And success on the first three with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to not win on the 2nd wager 5 instances for each successful streak of four wagers and still experience no loss.
