Baccarat Rules

Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued under 10 are counted at their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they merely represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for any hand will be the total of the two cards, but the very first digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of 7 as well as 5 will have a total score of 2 (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be given out depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of eight or 9, then both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning bets on the banker pay at 19 to twenty (even money less a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so make sure that you have money still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie typically pays out at eight to one but on occasion 9 to one. (This is a bad bet as ties will happen less than 1 every 10 hands. Run away from putting money on a tie. Even so odds are richly better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

When played correctly, baccarat presents pretty decent odds, aside from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. 1 of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is not an indicator of future results. Monitoring of historic outcomes on a chart is definitely a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and probably most successful tactic is the one-three-2-6 scheme. This tactic is employed to amplify payout and limiting risk.

commence by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
